Visitor Information and Class Tours

While we always love having visitors to the shop, we are primarily a working letterpress business.

That said, we welcome individuals on the first and third Thursdays of every month from noon until five. Please contact us ahead of time if you are interested in seeing our unique collection of vintage presses and typecasting equipment.

 

We also welcome class tours and regularly host students and their teachers from SVA, Columbia, Pratt, NYU and other area schools. If you are a teacher and would like to show your students how printing was historically done, contact us and we can arrange a short one to two hour tour and demonstration that includes the history of letterpress printing and hot metal typesetting.
